- What is the cost of using Fonolo for my company?
- There is a setup fee based customization we need to do for your phone menu. Then you pay for the minutes of phone time your customers use. More information here.
- My call center relies on CallerID (ANI/DNIS), what number will our call center see if a caller is using Fonolo?
- Fonolo can change the caller ID your system sees to match the one we use to reach the customer. So your phone system will think the call is coming directly from the customer.
- Will Fonolo work with my IVR if it is speech-based?
- In most cases, Fonolo can handle speech-based IVRs. But we will have to look at your specific implementation to be sure.
- I would like to use Fonolo, but my company's IVR is not in your database right now. How can I add my company to your database?
- Your company does not need to be included in the database for our consumer service in order for you to add Fonolo to your company's web or mobile interfaces. The two services operate independently.
- What happens if our IVR changes? How does Fonolo handle IVRs that change on weekends / after-hours?
- Fonolo stays synchronized to your IVR regardless of changes you make. The phone menu displayed to your site visitors (or mobile users) will always be a snapshot of the current state of your IVR.
- Will Fonolo work if my IVR is a hosted service or consists of multiple IVR systems? Which IVR/ACD equipment is compatible with Fonolo?
- Fonolo will work with any combination of IVR/ACD equipment. The specifics of your implementation are not relevant to Fonolo because all of the interaction happens through a regular phone line.
- For our agents, we have implemented CTI / screen pops, how does Fonolo affect that?
- Fonolo can collect information from the caller prior to the call and can relay that information to your IVR system using standard DTMF tones. Your CTI systems will continue to work as they are. From the perspective of your call center equipment, the call appears like it was dialed directly by a customer (albeit one with very fast fingers). If you are willing to do some integration work, Fonolo can collect more elaborate information and pass it to your systems through a data connection. We'd love to talk to you about that.
- Does Fonolo work with other languages?
- At the moment, we only support English.
- How does your web component integrate with our site?
- The component will work with any website. Technically speaking, it is contained in an "iframe" similar to the components from Google AdWords or Facebook Connect.
- Where can I find out more about your API?
- You can access the API and download related documents by creating a Developer Account. To do this, create a regular Fonolo account and then, check “Developer” on the Account page.
